Description:
Williamsburg, Va. - Strategic Analysis Enterprises (SAE), Inc seeks
full-time software engineer to support and extend a text information
extraction system and perform other programming tasks.
Required: master's or doctorate in computer science or computational
linguistics, ability to program in C# and build a good Windows user
interface (Java programmers who can switch to C# will be considered).
Desirable: knowledge of pragmatics and English lexical semantics; Python
and/or Perl; statistical research methods.
SAE primarily works on defense contracts. As such, US citizenship is
mandatory and an ability to acquire a security clearance in the future is
desirable but not necessary. Salary is commensurate with qualifications.
SAE is a small private business specializing in applying computational
social science tools and methodologies to solve national security
challenges. SAE provides health & dental insurance, 401k plan, profit
sharing, and bonus earning possibilities to its employees. Relocation to
Williamsburg, VA or Washington, DC area is mandatory.
