Call Deadline: 30-Jan-2011

Meeting Description:

Res per nomen is a research programme within a Reims University research
group, CIRLEP, where linguists and philosophers jointly study the issue of
reference in language, i.e. the necessary link between discourse and our
experience. The 1st Res per nomen conference was held in May 2007 and
took stock of reference in the study of language. The 2nd Res per nomen
conference in May 2009 developed the notion that language should be
tackled from a more anthropological point of view. Both conferences
produced high quality papers and books in French and in English. (See Res
per nomen publications on website). Res per nomen 3 will be held in May
2011 and will take a special interest in reference in connexion with
consciousness, the ego, subjectivity and the speaking subject. All other
aspects of reference in language are most welcome too.

Call For Papers

Paper should be submitted in Word format, 8 pages all-included, margins of
2.5 cm, Garamond font size 12, except title (20) and subtitles (14), single
spaced, no page numbers. Selected papers will be published as-is in the
Proceedings. Authors are advised to put extra care into their camera-ready
final versions.

There is no prelimanry abstract selection phase.

Papers may be submitted in French or in English.
