Full Title: Interfaces III Date: 05-May-2011 - 08-May-2011 Location: Canterbury, Kent, United Kingdom Contact Person: Marina Kolokonte Meeting Email: interfaces3 kent.ac.uk Linguistic Field(s): General Linguistics Call Deadline: 17-Jan-2011 Meeting Description: This 3rd conference on linguistic interfaces follows two previous conferences on language boundaries, encouraging a broad spectrum of interests on interfaces: Lexical and Morphological Processes, Syntax- Semantics-Pragmatics, Psycholinguistics and Language Acquisition, Stylistics and Discourse Analysis, Language Variation and Change. Call For Papers The Centre for Language & Linguistics Studies at the University of Kent will hold its third Interfaces Conference in Canterbury, May 5th - 8th 2011. Confirmed Keynote Speakers: -Dr Billy Clark, Middlesex, UK Title: TBA -Dr Alex Perovic, UCL, UK Title: TBA Following the success of our previous two conferences on language boundaries, we now invite the submission of abstracts for papers on the following interface themes: -Lexical and Morphological Processes -Syntax-Semantics-Pragmatics -Psycholinguistics and Language Acquisition -Stylistics and Discourse Analysis -Language Variation and Change The deadline is January 17th 2011. Papers will be allocated 20 minutes plus 10 minutes for discussion. The language of the conference is English. Abstracts must be anonymous and of no more than 300 words (excluding references). They should be sent by email as a Word attachment to interfaces3 kent.ac.uk by January 17th 2011 (subject: Interfaces III abstract). The document should only contain the presentation title and the abstract. Author(s) information including name, affiliation and email address should be detailed in the body of the email. Notification of acceptance decisions will be communicated by 28th of February 2011.
