Meeting Description:

On the occasion of centennial anniversary of the University of Hong Kong, the Department of Linguistics will host a one-day workshop prior to the Association for Linguistic Typology 9th Biennial Meeting on July 21, 2011. Abstracts are invited for a 20-minute oral presentation on typological or comparative studies of any languages/dialects of China. Typological works dealing with both Chinese and minority languages are particularly welcome.

适逢香港大学创建百年之际,香港大学人文学院语言学系定于2011年7月21日举办中国 语言类型学工作坊。本工作坊接受摘要投稿,内容须与中国语言或方言的类型学研究或比较 研究相关,尤其欢迎同时讨论汉语和少数民族语言的类型学研究。工作坊将为论文入选者安 排20分钟的报告时间。
