Meeting Description:

On the occasion of centennial anniversary of the University of Hong Kong,
the Department of Linguistics will host a one-day workshop prior to the
Association for Linguistic Typology 9th Biennial Meeting on July 21, 2011.
Abstracts are invited for a 20-minute oral presentation on typological or
comparative studies of any languages/dialects of China. Typological works
dealing with both Chinese and minority languages are particularly welcome.

Call For Papers

Abstract submission
Please prepare anonymous abstracts in Microsoft Word. The abstract
should be written in English or Chinese (or both) and no longer than two
pages (or three pages for bilingual texts), including data. If IPA is used,
please choose a Unicode font for it (e.g.
http://weston.ruter.net/projects/ipa-chart/view/keyboard). Use a short title
as the file name. The file name should be in English or pinyin, not Chinese
characters. Submit the abstract in PDF (or MS Word) at the following site:
http://linguistlist.org/confcustom/ChinaLg before noon of January 3, 2011.

The notification of acceptance will be emailed on February 1, 2011.
Acceptance letters, if required, will be posted on February 15.
