Linguistic Field(s): General Linguistics Call Deadline: 25-Oct-2010 Meeting Description: The Institute of Linguistics at Facultad de Filosofía y Letras, University of Buenos Aires gladly invites researchers, teachers and students to participate in the I Jornadas de Jóvenes Lingüistas, which will take place on the 21st, 22nd and 23rd of March, 2011 in Buenos Aires. This event has the support of the Letters Department of the Facultad de Filosofía y Letras, University of Buenos Aires. The goal of the Jornadas is to create an environment in which young linguists - advanced and postgraduate students - can gather and exchange their work in all areas of Linguistics. Call For Papers Summaries The Organization Committee for the I Jornadas de Jóvenes Lingüistas will only consider those summaries which meet the following requirements: Deadlines The deadline for sending the summaries is October 25th, 2010. All summaries will be subject to an evaluation and their acceptance will be announced since December 15th. General terms for the sending of the summaries Summaries should be written in Spanish or Portuguese, and sent to jornadas filo.uba.ar Summaries should be written using Microsoft Word or any other compatible word processor. The font should be Times New Roman, size 12, simple space, no numeration. The following data should be included: title (in capital letters), complete first and last names of the author or authors, institution, city, country and an e-mail address. The summary should have between 350 and 500 words. Minutes The works will be evaluated and selected for their publication in Minutes. The dates and terms for the sending of their complete versions will be specified in the second circular.
