The Linguistics Student Organization at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign is pleased to announce that it will be hosting its third annual meeting of the Illinois Languages and Linguistics Society (ILLS) on April 22-24. ILLS is a general Linguistics conference open to all subfields. This year's meeting will include a special session Saturday April 23rd on the topic 'Multilingualism, Language Contact, and Globalization.' Students submitting the top 4 student abstracts will be awarded $200 to cover conference travel costs.
