Call For Papers Department of English Philology and Translation announces a call for papers for the 4th International Conference 'General and Specialist Translation/Interpretation: Theory, Methods, Practice' to be held at the National Aviation University, Kyiv, Ukraine. Speakers will be invited to present their talks at the conference in Kyiv on April 1, 2011 and to have their papers published in the Conference Proceedings. Conference languages are English, Russian and Ukrainian. Academics, researchers, graduate students, translators/interpreters wishing to participate are requested to send to the Conference E-mail address (see below) on or before the 10 February 2011 deadline: -the Participant's Proposal Form -the paper. Requirements to the papers: Format: MS Word, Times New Roman; length: 5-6 pages in a 14-point font; line spacing: 1.5; margins: 2 cm; pages should not be numbered. References in the text should be made in square brackets, first the number of the title in the List of References at the end of the paper, then the number of the page to which the reference is made, e.g. [6: 35]. In the List of References the titles should be given in the order they appear in the text. To qualify, papers must not have been previously presented at conferences, published, or be committed to forthcoming publication. Failure to comply with these requirements may result in the paper being turned down by the Conference organizers. The authors are solely responsible for the content of their papers. The organizers advise the authors to check with the organizing committee by E-mail to make sure that their papers have been received and accepted for publication. Authors accepted for participation will be personally notified and invited by E-mail in February-March 2011.
