To strengthen our enthusiastic R&D team in Europe, we are currently looking for a Korean Language Specialist who will assist in the development of a state-of-the-art text-to-speech system. You will join the team in Merelbeke, Belgium. Role: -Helping in development of Korean linguistic processing components -Processing Korean speech data -Creating, testing and tuning the Korean text-to-speech voice Profile: We are looking for an enthusiastic, dedicated person with a background in Korean linguistics and/or speech technology who wants to make a contribution to a successful product. In terms of skills, we are seeking people who can do most - but not necessarily all - of the following. If you: -Are a native speaker of Korean -Speak English fluently (working language) -Have some experience working in speech/NLP/linguistics either in academia or in industry -Have some computational ability - no programming is required, but you should be comfortable working with MS Windows (knowledge of a scripting language is an advantage) -Are willing to work in Merelbeke (near Ghent in Belgium) for the duration of the contract ...then we would love to hear from you.
