We are now hiring dedicated interns to join the team and play an active role in building this language with us. Interns will never be asked to perform mindless duties or administrative work. Rather, you will be an actively engaged playing a significant role in product development. We do not expect an intern to know exactly what to do when walking into the position; there will be adequate training to ensure a working comfort level. You will be responsible for shaping VizLingo's visual vocabulary by assessing the literal words each incoming clip visually represents. While performing data-centric tagging, you will be isolating the specific words or phrases to objectively describe the visual content of the clip. You will need to exercise an academic understanding of the English language in order to maintain a literal sense of "tagging what you see", while simultaneously weighing poetic, metaphoric and subjective interpretations.
