La Federación Internacional de Asociaciones de Profesores de Español con la colaboración de los Cursos Internacionales de la Universidad de Santiago de Compostela celebrará durante las fechas 17, 18, 19 y 20 de abril de 2011, en los edificios de la mencionada Universidad de Santiago, su IVº Congreso Internacional.
El congreso tomará como punto de vista principal la enseñanza reglada del español en países no hispanohablantes haciendo hincapié en los problemas derivados de la no inmersión lingüística en el español en países no hispánicos.
