We'd like to remind readers that the responses to queries are usually best posted to the individual asking the question. That individual is then strongly encouraged to post a summary to the list. This policy was
instituted to help control the huge volume of mail on LINGUIST; so we would appreciate your cooperating with it whenever it seems appropriate.
In addition to posting a summary, we'd like to remind people that it is usually a good idea to personally thank those individuals who have taken the trouble to respond to the query.
To post to LINGUIST, use our convenient web form at http://linguistlist.org/LL/posttolinguist.html.

Dear colleagues, As part of an ongoing research project at the Institute for German Language in Mannheim, Germany, financed by the Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz Scientific Community, we are collecting empirical data on the use of online dictionaries, as only a few studies exist in this area. To this end, we have prepared an online survey in German and English that is not only designed for users of online dictionaries. We would be very grateful if you would support our research by participating in this survey. The survey should take approximately 10 to 20 minutes to complete. Until March 14, it can be launched using any web browser by clicking on the link below: http://www.unipark.de/uc/benutzungsforschung1/ In return for your participation, you may enter our draw for 10 Amazon vouchers, worth 10 Euro each. In addition, we donate 1 Euro for each completed questionnaire to the program "Girls' Education" of the aid project "Room to Read" (www.roomtoread.org). Furthermore, we would be grateful if you could forward this email or the link to people who might be interested in participating, e. g. colleagues or your students. Thank you very much for supporting our research. Kind regards Carolin Müller-Spitzer Antje Töpel Alexander Koplenig
