Description:

4 YEAR PREDOCTORAL GRANT OPEN FOR APPLICATION
FROM FEBRUARY 8TH TO FEBRUARY 22ND.

Call for applications for a Predoctoral fellowship financed by the Ministerio de
Ciencia e Innovación (Spain) to work on a PhD project in the area of
language/syntactic processing and bilingualism. This is a four year fellowship,
starting in 2010, to work at the ELEBILAB Psycholinguistics laboratory
(www.elebilab.com), Department of Linguistics and basque Studies (Faculty of
Arts, University of the Basque Country), within the Bilingual Mind research
group directed by Prof. Itziar Laka.

The PhD project involves research on age and/or proficiency effects in
bilinguals, with special attention to Spanish/Basque or Spanish/Catalan
bilingualism.

A background in linguistics or psycholinguistics is preferred though not required.

Knowledge of Spanish, Basque or Catalan is a plus, though not required.
