Abstract:
Cet ouvrage est issu d'une coopération entre des chercheurs et des
professionnels de terrain. Il vise à décrire un champ de la « formation
linguistique en contextes d'insertion », qui concerne des publics adultes
en cours et en difficulté d'insertion sociale et/ou professionnelle. Il
s'agit de le construire comme champ de recherche-formation, à la croisée de
la formation linguistique des migrants et de la formation aux savoirs de
base (illettrisme), à la croisée aussi de la didactique des langues, des
sciences de la formation d'adulte, de la sociologie, de la
sociolinguistique, de l'anthropologie. Le champ est en particulier
interrogé du point de vue de la professionnalité des formateurs qui y
interviennent, professionnalité que ce travail vise à décrire, avec l'idée
de la faire reconnaître mais aussi de la renforcer. Cet ouvrage permet
ainsi de formaliser une proposition de cadre souple de référence(s) en
matière de compétences professionnelles, et donne des orientations
concernant l'accompagnement formatif à la construction de ces compétences,
et leur évaluation.
