Dear Subsribers and School Challenge Followers,
This weekend has seen a change in the lead of the gras
school challenge and the competition is heating up!
Ohio State University has passed the University of
Washington to be at the top with $615 so far. The
University of Washington is in second place with a
total of $420, followed by the University of Toronto
(Canada) with $335 and Cornell University with $300.
The University of Rochester is in 5th place, followed
by Universitat Pompeu Fabra (Spain) and the University
of Ottawa (Canada) tied in 6th place.
We have yet to see what happens in this challenge
this week. If you are in for some competition, make
sure that you contact students, faculty and staff
are your institution and coordinate donations so that
you can see your school featured on the LINGUIST

The LINGUIST List is under the umbrella of Eastern Michigan University and as
such can receive donations through the EMU Foundation, which is a registered
501(c) Non Profit organization. Our Federal Tax number is 38-6005986. These
donations can be offset against your federal and sometimes your state tax return

Many companies also offer a gift matching program, such that they will match
any gift you make to a non-profit organization. Normally this entails your
contacting your human resources department and sending us a form that the
EMU Foundation fills in and returns to your employer. This is generally a simple
administrative procedure that doubles the value of your gift to LINGUIST, without
costing you an extra penny. Please take a moment to check if your company
operates such a program.
