Postdoctoral Research Fellow
Salary : £29,853 - £35,646
Applications are invited for the position of Postdoctoral Research Fellow
in the Department of Philosophy, Durham University, to work on a three-year
project entitled "Un-Cartesian Linguistics", for the second and third years
during which it is running (2010-2012). It is a full-time position
available from 1 July 2011. However, if suitable candidates present
themselves, we will consider appointing two part-time fellows, rather than
one full-time fellow. If you would only like to be considered for full- or
for part-time employment, please make this clear in your letter of
application.
The project is jointly funded by the UK Arts and Humanities Research Council
and the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (German Research Foundation). The
Principal Investigators are Prof. Wolfram Hinzen (Department of Philosophy,
Durham University, UK) and Professor Elisabeth Leiss (Department of Germanic
Linguistics, University of Munich, Germany). The current post is associated
with the UK-based, AHRC-funded part of the project. The post-holder will be
based in the Philosophy Department at Durham.
