Description:
Kansas State University is seeking a specialist in Spanish usage-based linguistics, applied linguistics or second language acquisition for a one year term, renewable. Requirements: -Must have completed Ph.D. by August 2011. -Native or near-native proficiency in Spanish. -Value diversity in all its dimensions, and consider different cultural perspectives in solving problems in this area. The successful candidate will teach 5 courses per year at graduate and undergraduate levels, including introductory linguistics courses and courses in support of M.A. options in second language acquisition/teacher education and teaching English as a foreign language.
