Liberal Arts Methodologies in Multidimensional Translation 10/11 June, 17/18 June, 28 June 2011 MuTra PhD Summer Colloquia in Multidimensional Translation The PhD School in Multidimensional Translation is an offspring of the EU-sponsored MuTra project and PhD School (2005 – 2007) and is organized within the Graduate Program of Saarland University (www.uni-saarland.de/mutra). Its idea is to provide a structured 2-year PhD program for translation scholars combining courses in scientific writing and methodology with individual research for dissertation projects. It is taught by international T & I researchers in conjunction with leading personalities as guest speakers who provide a wider perspective. The PhD Summer School offers seminars, workshops and tutorials in German with a reference to English, French and some Slavic languages, and is open to postgraduate students from all over the world who are qualified to enter a PhD or postdoctoral degree (‘Habilitation’). Attendance is possible for individual events (no restrictions). Places for a whole cycle are limited. Applications for a new cycle beginning in October 2011 are now welcome. Dates in SS 2011: 10/11 June, 17/18 June and 28 June http://www.uni-saarland.de/de/campus/forschung/forschungsaktivitaeten/uds-promotionsfoerderung/doktorandenprogramm-mutra/veranstaltungen-20102011.html Languages: German with a reference to English and French For further information, please contact the PhD Summer School Coordinator: Prof. Dr. Heidrun Gerzymisch: h.gerzymisch mx.uni-saarland.de www.uni-saarland.de/mutra www.translationconcepts.org www.atrc.de
