Sacred Heart Schools, Atherton (SHS) is seeking excellent candidates for a full-time Spanish teacher position at the Lower/Middle School starting the 2011-2012 academic year. Organization Overview: Founded in 1898, SHS is a Roman Catholic, coeducational, independent school and is comprised of the Lower/Middle School for preschool through grade eight, and Sacred Heart Preparatory for grades nine through twelve. Required qualifications include five years of teaching experience at an elementary or middle school, a BA in Spanish, Education, or a related field, and high proficiency in reading, writing, speaking and listening in Spanish. Preferred qualifications include experience teaching at an elementary AND middle school level, an MA in Spanish, Education, or a related field, and a credential in Spanish.
