We are seeking a computational linguist to be part of our NLP development team to extend our insight extraction system to German, French and Spanish. This job involves developing and running test scripts on large content sets for grammar validation (stemming, part of speech tagging and parsing). You will also develop and debug a rules-based system for extracting information relevant to consumer opinions about brands and products. Requirements: - Native or near-native fluency in German, Spanish or French - Experience using a scripting language such as Python - Familiarity with development and debugging in a software development environment - MA or PhD in Computational Linguistics or a related field - Authorization to work in the US (including Canadian citizens) and willingness to relocate Preferred skills: - Experience with Java programming - Experience with developing computational grammars and/or lexicons Compensation depends on background and experience.
