The 6th Workshop on Occitan Linguistics/6en Obrador de Lingüistica Occitana will take place in Tolosa on March 30th 2012. There is no conference fee, but membership in the Associacion de Lingüistica Occitana is required. A one-year membership is 15 € and can be paid in cash on site. La participacion al collòqui se fa a res-non-còst, mas es obligatòri de venir sòci de l’associacion. L’escotisson per un an es de 15€ e se poirà pagar sus plaça en espècias.
Call for Papers: We welcome contributions from all fields of Occitan linguistics (lexicology, syntax, morphology, phonology, dialectology, sociolinguistics, etc.), as well as comparative approaches. Contributions can focus on results from completed or ongoing research and should represent original and unpublished work. One-page abstracts are invited for 20 minutes talks, followed by 10 minutes of discussion. Working languages will be Occitan, any other Romance language or English. The abstract (pdf document) should be sent to the organisers (daniela.muller univ-tlse2.fr) by e-mail in two versions, one anonymous and one with your name and affiliation, before October 1st 2011. You will be notified no later than November 1st 2011. Important Dates: Deadline for abstract submissions: October 1st 2011 Notification of acceptance: November 1st 2011 Workshop: March 30th 2012 L'Obrador es dubèrt a totes los que vòlon intervenir sus una question de linguistica occitana (lexic, sintaxi, morfologia, fonologia, dialectologia) tant en sincronia coma en diacronia. Cap de tèma i es pas impausat. Los apròchis comparatius son possibles. Aquel encontre pòt èsser l'escasença de presentar un trabalh acabat o en cors d'elaboracion. Se prevei un temps de 30 minutas per cada comunicacion (20 +10 minutas de discussion). Las lengas de comunicacion seràn l'occitan, una autra lenga romanica o l'anglés. Las personas interessadas devon mandar per corrièr electronic als organisaires (daniela.muller univ-tlse2.fr) una proposicion de comunicacion acompanhada d'un resumit d'una pagina (document pdf) en dos exemplars, un de dos anonim, abans lo 1r d'octòbre de 2011.
