2nd International Communication Studies Conference University of Botswana July 8-13, 2012 The aim of the 2nd International Communication Studies Conference is to deliberate on the advances in academic, business, and professional communication in the global community. Organized by the Communication Studies Skills Unit, Centre for Academic Development, University of Botswana, the conference will be in two parts: 1) a pre-conference workshop and 2) the communication conference. The conference organizers will furnish participants with information on the availability of hotels, motels and lodges in Gaborone. Call for Papers: Submission of Abstracts: Submissions are invited for individual papers, posters, and colloquia. Abstracts of not more than 200 words should be e-mailed to the following panel: comm2010 mopipi.ub.bw olufemiphiladele yahoo.ca chimbga mopipi.ub.bw Authors should present the abstracts in 1.5 inch spacing, Times New Roman 12, with the author(s) names, affiliation and contact details (postal address, fax, phone, email) included. The sub-themes should be specified. The abstracts submitted will be reviewed by a sub-committee of the conference committee before final acceptance of the proposal for presentation at the conference. After the acceptance of the abstract, the author or authors should write up the conference paper and be ready to present it paper at the conference.
