The eight week long program is intended for students who plan to pursue PhD study, and who are considering the University of Michigan as a possibility for graduate school. The program is aimed in particular at outstanding undergraduate students who are underrepresented in their field of study. The Linguistics Department will participate in the Summer 2011 program, and will select three applicants for participation. Students who participate will be involved in conducting research under the mentorship of faculty from the University of Michigan.
