Call Deadline: 01-Sep-2011

Meeting Description:

AsiaCALL (the Asia Association of Computer-Aided Language Learning)

AsiaCALL2011 (10th International AsiaCALL Conference) will be held in Bangkok, Thailand from 18 - 21 November 2011 at the Fourwings Hotel, under the auspices of the Language Center at Srinakharinwirot University.

Conference Theme: ‘Mobility in Language Teaching and Learning through Technology’

Call for Papers:

Conference on Computer-Assisted Language Learning with special reference to Asian contexts - although CALL papers of a more general nature are welcome.

We continue to receive a stream of papers from all over the world (including Sudan, South Africa, Canada, Chile, USA) and, as a result of requests from prospective delegates we have decided to extend the call for papers until September 1.

Acceptance advice for abstracts already submitted remains as scheduled. New submissions will be reviewed as they come in.

If you have not yet submitted an abstract, please consider doing so. We will have a great program in the heart of the Bangkok tourist district at very reasonable cost and at a wonderful time of the year. As a special bonus for US colleagues, the conference is timed for just before the Thanksgiving break, thus giving you the opportunity for up to a week of tourism after the conference.

All details for the conference are available on the AsiaCALL website at http://asiacall.org
