Meeting Description:
The 2012 NAAHoLS Annual Meeting will again be held in conjunction with the Linguistic Society of America, the American Dialect Society, the American Name Society, the Society for the Study of the Indigenous Languages of the Americas, and the Society for Pidgin and Creole Linguistics.
Call for Papers: As in the past, we invite papers relating to any aspect of the history of the language sciences. All presenters must be members of the association (contact the NAAHoLS Secretary for details). Papers will be 20 minutes, with 10 minutes for discussion. Abstracts should be submitted as file attachments (MS Word). The length of the abstract should not exceed 500 words - upon acceptance, a shorter (100-word) abstract will also be requested for the meeting handbook.
