Candidate must have a Ph.D. in Hispanic Linguistics or in Linguistics in hand by August 2012. The successful candidate must show evidence of an active research program in phonological acquisition of Spanish as a second language, and must be able to contribute to general offerings in the area of Hispanic linguistics, as well as advanced undergraduate and/or graduate courses in Spanish phonology and in formal linguistic or psycholinguistic approaches to acquisition. Native or nearnative fluency in Spanish is required. Undergraduate courses are taught in Spanish.
