Description:
LexisNexis is seeking a candidate to help lead and implement systems responsible for extracting entities and locating facts about these entities for eventual resolution. The candidate will work within a systems development team responsible for deploying content enrichment solutions as well as conduct data analysis to create and deploy applications that help us build 'smart content'. The candidate should have the following capabilities: - Implementing entity and fact extraction and resolution applications - Experience with natural language processing, named entity extraction, artificial intelligence, machine learning and text mining - Experience with text mining tools - Testing and test management experience - Excellent written and oral communication skills - Strong problem solving and analytical skills - Ability to think creatively and work independently, able to multitask, design, implement and troubleshoot complex systems Applicants should have the following: - A graduate degree in computational linguistics, computer science or a related discipline - Relevant experience in information extraction and named entity recognition and resolution Other useful experience: - Legal industry - Publishing - Information services -Government intelligence
