These issues will be discussed at this seminar, amongst others, under various sub- themes such as language and social justice, language planning and social change, language movements, issues of linguistic and cultural development, language-culture and media, language-culture and development, etc. They can be of theoretical or analytical nature, or issues dealt with at the level of all-India perspective, or issues emerging from the experiences of various states, or a particular field of social life, or the inter-linkages.
