Special Qualifications: -Current student or recent graduate in (1) computer science with a specialization in language (linguistics, text processing, foreign languages); or (2) linguistics with a specialization in computer science, mathematics, logic or programming languages -Must have intermediate to advanced skills in Python or C++ (other additional programming languages [Perl, Java, etc.] are welcome) -Interest in collaboration with linguistics, software development and customer marketing teams on joint projects
Description:
The NLP research intern may be responsible for: -Development of coding projects for a number of information extraction and statistical analysis tasks -Summarization and presentation of results to the linguistics, software development and consumer marketing teams -Development of language data protocols and standards to ensure accurate reproducibility of extraction and analyses on future dictionary-based corpora -Various other activities as assigned
