Meeting Description:

The role of the computer technologies with regard to the preservation and
development of national languages and cultures has been clearly outlined
by the turn of the new millennium. Nowadays for the full functioning and
development of natural languages, their inclusion in the modern methods of
processing and transmission of information is a necessary condition. The
Georgian language faces this problem as well. In our opinion, the complete
inclusion of the Georgian language in the cyber space is an urgent matter.
Computational modeling of the Georgian language and on this basis, the
creation of computer systems is necessary to solve the mentioned problem.
