Individuals that are working towards a PhD degree, or have completed a PhD within the past six years may be eligible for funding from the Research Council of Norway to stay as a visiting researcher in Norway. The Center for Advanced Study in Theoretical Linguistics, CASTL, (http://castl.uit.no) is pleased to extend an invitation to potential applicants of the Yggdrasil mobility program. The Yggdrasil mobility program covers stays of between one and ten months from August 2011 through June 2012, and is open to citizens of European countries (except for the Nordic countries) and selected non-European countries (Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Egypt, India, Israel, Japan, Mexico and South Africa). The application deadline is February 16th. More information about the Yggdrasil program and the current call can be found at the Norwegian Research Council website: http://www.forskningsradet.no/en/Funding/ISMOBIL/1233557743178
