Meeting Description:
The 10th International Conference on the Structure of Hungarian (ICSH10) will be organized jointly by the Center of Languages and Literature, Lund University, Lund, Sweden, and the Research Institute for Linguistics of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences, Budapest, Hungary. The conference will host a special workshop on 'Approaches to Uralic Languages and Scandinavian'. Invited Speakers: Michael Brody Anders Holmberg Julia Horvath Christer Platzack Michael Rochemont
2nd Call for Papers: Abstracts are solicited for 30-minute presentations (plus 10 minutes for discussion) that make a contribution to our understanding of the structure of the language and/or the structure of linguistic theory, including any characteristic of the morphology, phonetics, phonology, syntax, semantics, pragmatics, psycholinguistics, sociolinguistics, neurolinguistics or historical linguistics of Hungarian. The special workshop on Uralic and Scandinavian languages welcomes abstracts in the following topics: phonetics, phonology, morphology, syntax, argument structure, semantics, information structure and historical linguistics of Scandinavian and Uralic languages. Anonymous, maximally two-page abstracts (in a font no smaller than 12pt.), written in English, should be submitted as PDF files using the ConfTool System. One person is allowed to submit maximum two abstracts: one as a sole author and another as a co-author, including the main conference and the workshop.
