Meeting Description:

Unlike our previous symposiums, the 25th international conference of the Croatian Applied Linguistics Society will not set any limits concerning the topic or the methodology of the papers. We therefore invite all scholars from the field of applied linguistics to present their contemporary research from any branch of applied linguistics.

The final deadline for the registration and abstract submission: March 15, 2011.

Presenters may submit only one paper proposal (either as presenters or co-presenters) for a 15-minute oral presentation (following a 5 min discussion) or a poster presentation.
Incomplete registration forms will not be taken into consideration!!

The official languages of the conference are Croatian, English and German.

All accepted abstracts (max. 200 words in the language of the presentation and another language) will be published in the abstracts booklet which will be distributed at the beginning of the conference. All abstracts will be subjected to blind review by two independent referees, grading abstracts from 1 to 3 according to the following two criteria: potential scientific contribution to the field methodology and hypothesis. Conference fee and membership fee may be paid into the CALS account. Keep a copy of the payment document and present it at the registration. On-site payment is also possible.
