Full Title: Malaysian Journal of ELT Research
Call Deadline: 31-May-2012
In many English as a Second or Foreign Language contexts, the teaching and learning of pronunciation is largely ignored or given little attention in the classroom. In order to create a platform for researchers and teachers working in the area of English pronunciation to share their work, the Malaysian Journal of ELT Research (MaJER), a peer-reviewed online publication, is planning to publish a special issue dealing with issues such as models of pronunciation used in the classroom, variability in accents of English and its implications to the classroom, innovative approaches and methods of teaching pronunciation, and methods used to assess students' pronunciation skills. Authors should format their papers according to the guidelines provided at http://www.melta.org.my/Introduction/q?cid=69&doit=showclass. All in-text citations and references should follow the referencing style used by the American Psychological Association. Submissions should be sent as two Word attachments (one should have the names and details of authors removed and saved as MaJER Title of Paper-Review Copy.doc, and the other with the information included saved as MaJER Title of Paper-Non Review Copy.doc) to the Chief Editor of MaJER at majermelta gmail.com before 31 May 2012. All manuscripts will be blinded and sent to two reviewers. We are hoping to publish the Special Issues in early 2013.
