Greetings from the Review Editors Team! The five of us -- four editors and an editorial assistant --
are all at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Our goal is to be the first source for high-quality
reviews of newly published linguistics books. We encourage young scholars and advanced graduate students
to write reviews, and we work hard to give extensive feedback to reviewers. With so many books being
published in so many areas of linguistics, the Reviews area of LINGUIST is relevant to all linguists worldwide.

Our team has changed since the last fund drive (welcome Rajiv!), and with another review editor, we have
been able to really get caught up and get things running smoothly. The turn-around time from review
submission to the posting of a review is now often only about two or three weeks, if reviewers respond
quickly with requested revisions. We are also just starting a new sub-branch of LINGUIST List reviews,
the LINGUIST List review article! Our goal is to present longer review articles of important new work
published in the field, starting with a couple this year and expanding as we develop a routine.
So, keep an eye out for our very first LINGUIST List review article - it will be posted later this year.
