Requirements: Ph.D. in Linguistics or related field. Applicants must be able to teach at least two of the following: syntax, phonetics, phonology, and graduate research methods. Preference will be given to applicants who can also teach introduction to linguistics, sociolinguistics, second language acquisition, undergraduate general education courses, or other courses appropriate to a BA and MA in Linguistics. Preference will also be given to candidates with a demonstrated ability to bridge theoretical and applied topics in linguistics. Duties will include teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in Linguistics, undergraduate and graduate student advising and mentoring and the possibility of thesis supervision.
