Meeting Description:

We are pleased to announce you that the fourth edition of the International Conference on Paradigms of the Ideological Discourse, focusing on The Dynamics of Terminologies and (Re)Shaping of Ideologies, will be held in Galaţi, Romania, from May 31 to June 1, 2012.

The Conference is part of the scientific events annually organized by the Scientific Research Center 'Intercultural Communication and Literature' of B category in CNCSIS (NURC - National University Research Council) standards. Its purpose is to provide an academic and multidisciplinary environment for dissemination of the researching results in the area of an ample and controversial phenomenon: the implication of ideology in the social-human sciences, in general, and in the language and communication sciences, in particular.

Registration Fee:

50 Euros, covering conference materials, coffee breaks, conference lunch, the Conference Proceedings volume provided in .pdf format (along with the printed excerpt of the published paper)

Travel, accommodation and meals (except for the official ones included in the Programme) will be at the charge of the participants.

April 7, 2012: Deadline for title and abstract submission (150-400 words, in a different language than the one used in the paper) together with the filled registration form
April 27, 2012: Deadline for paper submission and fee payment

The conference presentation languages are: English, French and Romanian. The papers sent for publication must be written in an international foreign language and also accompanied by its Romanian version.

The Conference scientific committee will make a selection of the papers in order to publish them in the Research Center's review 'Communication interculturelle et littérature' (http://www.cil.ugal.ro) indexed in two IDB: Modern Language Association, New York, http://www.mla.org, and Fabula. La recherche en littérature, http://www.fabula.org). The review is under re-evaluation by NRC (CNCS) (according to the new evaluation criteria). The selection of papers will take into consideration, among other things, the following criteria: the importance and relevance of the proposed topic to the conference themes, the appropriateness of the method(s), the originality of the demonstration, the validity of the research results, the accuracy of expression, the quality of style etc.

The remaining papers will be published in the Conference proceedings with ISBN, at a NRC (National Research Council) certified publishing house.
