Meeting Description:
The 2012 Colloquium of the Henry Sweet Society for the History of Linguistic Ideas will take place at Aarhus University, from Thursday 30 August through to Saturday 1 September 2012. For further information about the society see the HSS website http://www.henrysweet.org. Information on accommodation and travel, as well as updates on the colloquium, will be posted there in due course.
2nd Call for Papers: Papers will be of 30 minutes including discussion time, and may be on the colloquium theme or any other aspect of the history of linguistic ideas. Please send an email to both organisers (at the addresses below) with an attachment (in Word or Wordperfect) giving the title, type of contribution, and an abstract (max. 250 words); your name should not appear in the attachment. In the body of the email please indicate your full contact address and the title of your paper, discussion or thematic session. As usual, ideas for panel discussions or thematic sessions are also welcome. These should be submitted in the same way as ordinary papers. Organisers: Julie Hansen (linjha hum.au.dk) William B.
