The Theoretical Phonology Conference (TPC) was initiated by National Chengchi University in 2005 and hosted by the Graduate Institute of Linguistics at National Chengchi University and the Institute of Linguistics at Academia Sinica in 2009 and 2011. This conference is a premier international conference series dedicated to the scientific research of theoretical phonology and Chinese languages. It aims to provide a platform for formal phonology researchers and graduate students to exchange their ideas and new findings in theoretical studies in the generative framework. We are pleased to announce that the 4th International Theoretical Phonology Conference (TPC 4) will be held May 4-6, 2013, at National Chengchi University, Taipei, Taiwan. The present conference is hosted by the Graduate Institute of Linguistics at National Chengchi University and co-hosted by the Institute of Linguistics at Academia Sinica. 2013 is the year to celebrate the 20th anniversary of The Graduate Institute of Linguistics at National Chengchi University. Call for Papers: We cordially invite abstracts in all subfields of phonology. Each person may submit no more than one abstract, single-authored or joint-authored. The requirements for the submission are given below: (a) The abstract should be written in English, no more than one A4 or letter-size page in length. (b) Email 2 copies of the abstract to tpc nccu.edu.tw, one in MS Word format, which includes the author's name(s), affiliation(s), and e-mail address(es), and the other in PDF format (for anonymous review), identified by title only. (c) Special fonts (if any) should also be sent as an attachment to the same email address.
