Part-time temporary Lecturer: Linguistics The Department of English at Humboldt State University invites applicants to our temporary faculty pool. The department anticipates openings for linguistics courses in both Fall and Spring semesters during academic year 2012/13, with possibility of course availability during academic year 2013/2014. PhD. in Linguistics/English or related from an accredited college or university is required at time of appointment. Applicants must have appropriate background and training to teach Introductory Linguistics, English Syntax, and History of English. Students taking courses in these areas are typically English majors, education majors, and those pursuing a minor in Linguistics. Depending on expertise, TESL, writing or introductory-level literature courses may be a part of the teaching assignment. To apply, go to the application URL below.
