Dear Infield 2008 and 2010 participants, We wish to remind international participants who wish to attend CoLang 2012 this summer at the University of Kansas that the deadline for registration is this week: 15 January 2012. Please note, this is a suggested deadline and you may register after this date; however, past experience has shown that it may be more difficult to obtain a visa in time. CoLang Workshops will take place 18 – 29 June 2012. The Workshops offers intensive courses on the practice of documentary linguistics. The Practicum will take place 2 – 27 July 2012. Four languages will be offered: Tlingit [Na-Dene], Amazigh (Berber) [Afro-Asiatic], Uda [Niger- Congo], and Cherokee [Iroquoian]. In order to enroll for the Practicum, you must also enroll for the two-week Workshops. For more information regarding registration, courses offered, and deadlines, please visit our website at http://idrh.ku.edu/colang2012/. If you know of others who may be interested in participating this summer, please feel free to forward this e-mail. Sincerely, Carlos M Nash and Arienne Dwyer CoLang 2012 Co-directors University of Kansas
