Qs: Looking for Resources on Taboos

We'd like to remind readers that the responses to queries are usually best posted to the individual asking the question. That individual is then strongly encouraged to post a summary to the list. I want to work on a sociolinguistic study of taboos for my M. A. thesis, but
I dont have a list of those sociolinguists who have written papers or books
on this subject. I hope you can help introduce me to some of them. I'm
