We'd like to remind readers that the responses to queries are usually best posted to the individual asking the question. That individual is then strongly encouraged to post a summary to the list. This policy was instituted to help control the huge volume of mail on LINGUIST; so we would appreciate your cooperating with it whenever it seems appropriate. In addition to posting a summary, we'd like to remind people that it is usually a good idea to personally thank those individuals who have taken the trouble to respond to the query. To post to LINGUIST, use our convenient web form at http://linguistlist.org/LL/posttolinguist.cfm.

Dear All, Thank you very much for all your responses.I appreciate your support and dedication. However, there are still some questionnaires which have not been completed. I'm posting links to four remaining surveys. http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/RT9J2DX http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/RTWQLY6 http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/RTXKG62 http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/RTFMCTM Just as a reminder, I'm conducting a research on metaphors in English at Adam Mickiewicz University and I'm looking for native speakers willing to help. The research data I have collected need to be pre-tested by English native speakers to prove some assumptions. Thank you for your support Justyna Krajewska Adam Mickiewicz University School of English

Dear All, This is the second part of my research on Polish and English metaphors - verbal metaphors. The data presented in the questionnaires (links below) need to be verified by English native speakers. If you have a moment to spare, please complete one of these questionnaires. http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/RNHGVMQ http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/RF99K8M http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/RFCCY5B http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/RFMRTYS These surveys are much shorter than the previous ones (NOMINAL metaphors), thus less time-consuming. Thank you again for help. Best regards Justyna Krajewska Adam Mickiewicz University School of English
