Meeting Description:
Every year, University of Ljubljana, Slovenia, hosts a summer workshop about Natural Syntax. The workshops are dedicated to the verification and/or refutation of Natural Syntax with the help of language material culled from various languages. A workshop is held for two weeks every August. The language of the workshop: basically English. In the following years, the workshops will be dedicated to Diachronic Natural Syntax. In 2012 the workshop will be held from August 13 to August 24. We encourage linguists and students of language (incl. undergraduates) to apply. Applications should contain the applicant's biography, bibliography (if any) and a brief description of the current interests in the field of languages. The application should be sent by postal mail or email and addressed to Professor Janez Orešnik Filozofska fakulteta 1001 Ljubljana, Slovenia janez.oresnik sazu.si Deadline for applications: June 1, 2012.
