4th International Conference on Anglophone Studies 5-6 September 2012 The Department of English and American Studies at Tomas Bata University in Zlín announces its fourth annual conference on Anglophone studies entitled From Theory to Practice. This event offers scholars an opportunity to present the results of their research and discuss newly developed theories as well as their practical applicabilities. Keynote Speakers: To be announced Venue: Tomas Bata University in Zlín University Centre T. G. Masaryka 5555 760 01 Zlín Registration: Deadline: 22 June 2012 Fee: 1,000 CZK The registration fee of 1,000 CZK covers participation in sessions, a copy of the conference proceedings, refreshments and organizational costs. The fee should be paid by invoice by 20 July 2012. Participants from abroad may pay in cash upon arrival. The registration form may be downloaded from the conference website.
2nd Call for Papers: We welcome papers from the following fields: - Linguistics - Translation studies - Literature - Cultural studies The submission guidelines may be downloaded from the conference website. Selected papers will be published in a peer-reviewed conference proceedings. Please note: The proceedings will include selected papers from the conference; acceptance of all papers is subject to the editors' decision based on the reviewers' comments. The previous two proceedings were accepted into the Thomson Reuters ISI Web of Knowledge database and this year's proceedings will likewise be submitted for inclusion.
