The Economist weighs in on the Endangered Languages
[http://www.endangeredlanguages.com] project announced by Google in
collaboration with the LINGUIST List at Eastern Michigan University and
the University of Hawai’i at Manoa. The project's goal is to create an
online resource to collect data and research on endangered languages,
and to incorporate community and public involvement in that effort.
