It will be hosted by the Institute of English Philology, the oldest English Studies Department in Poland, which has just celebrated the centenary of its foundation. The ISHS conference will merge with the HumorTap 4 conference as well as the 2nd Lafal Symposium, both biannual international humor conferences organized in Poland. The Conference schedule will open with Pre-Conference Tutorials (June 25th) for those participants who have not had previous exposure to humor research. Tutors are eminent humor researchers: Christie Davies, Jessica Milner Davis, Giselinde Kuipers, Victor Raskin and Willibald Ruch.
