Applications are invited for the rank of Assistant Professor within the
Department of Chinese, Translation and Linguistics [Ref. C/152/49].
Duties:
Teach and supervise students at both undergraduate and
postgraduate levels, including BA, MA, MPhil and PhD in the area of
Phonology.
Requirements:
A PhD in Linguistics or related disciplines, specializing in Phonology.
Outstanding research record with experience in supervising graduate
students at both MA and PhD level and ability to work well with
colleagues are required. Preference will be given to candidates with
a proven record of publications or excellent research potential.
Salary and Conditions of Service:
Remuneration package will be driven by market competitiveness
and individual performance. Excellent fringe benefits include gratuity,
leave, medical and dental schemes, and relocation assistance
(where applicable). Initial appointment will be made on a fixed-term
contract.
