Role: Senior Software Engineer
Location: Ulm, Germany
REF: 8097

Role Description:
This position reports to the Senior Manager Automotive Engineering SDK,
and needs to develop and integrate audio management components into the
general DragonDrive platform.

Duties:
- Working in the automotive application framework team to develop audio
components
- Design and implementation of a high-level API in C++
- Alignment with other Nuance framework groups to ensure synergy and
reuse among groups
- Maintenance of the audio components according to customer requirements
and bug reports
- Porting to other platforms as required
- Support for customer programs
- Quality assurance through definition and setup of appropriate unit test
suites
- Support integration into overall application framework

Skills and Experience Required:
- Very good programming skills in C/C++
- Strong software engineering skills (requirements analysis, SW design, QA)
- Experience in development of highly portable code on embedded systems
- Fluent in English (good written and oral skills)
- Team player
- Academic degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or similar

Preferred:
- Experience with Audio management technology
- Programming skills in Java
- (Near) native speaker of German
