Dissertation Abstract:
The dissertation is a descriptive grammar of the Oceanic language Daakaka, which is spoken by about 1000 speakers on the island of Ambrym, Vanuatu. The grammar is based on a corpus of more than 6400 sentences plus numerous elicitations, collected by the author herself during her fieldwork between 2009 and 2012.
